About Us
Moore Recycling Associates Inc. has been assisting businesses, government and communities with
waste management issues for over 20 years. While our primary expertise is research and development
of the recovery of post-consumer plastic packaging, we have been involved with projects concerning a
wide range of packaging and composting issues.
Moore Recycling Associates History:
Patty Moore, Doug McDowell and Becky Secrest established Moore Recycling
Associates in 1989.

About the Artist:
Peggy Spiess resides in Eugene, Oregon. She received her Bachelor's
Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Oregon
in 1980. Her acrylic style was self-taught and shaped
by the necessity of everyday life; each step in
the process is clearly defined, allowing her to
leave and return to a work in progress with relative
ease. Faced with an increasingly soulless society,
she has chosen to deeply inhabit a small portion
of the world in her paintings; focusing on those
subjects embodying qualities with which she can
resonate and rejoice. These have invariably proven
to be familiar, and often local, flora whose leaves,
thorns, stems, and seeds are all analogous to points
of struggle and ease at play in life at the moment
